THE CAROL HOUSE QUICK FIX CLINIC: This event is held to raise awareness and funds for the Carol House Quick Fix Clinic. The Saint Louis Metropolitan Spay Neuter and Wellness Clinic began in August 2010 as a 501(c)3 non-profit for the purpose of establishing programs and policies that will decrease the number of unwanted dogs and cats euthanized in Saint Louis each year. Because of the proven effectiveness of low-cost spay/neuter clinics in other cities, they are certain it will work in our area. But, they need your help!
As the St. Louis Metropolitan area has a serious pet overpopulation problem, in which over 20,000 adoptable pets are euthanized annually, it is their goal to reduce this number dramatically, or eliminate euthanasia entirely as a solution to the problem.
COURSE DESCRIPTION: This scenic route begins and ends near the Tremayne Shelter and will take us around the recently renovated Park trails.
RACE DAY DETAILS: The run starts promptly at 10:00 AM. Check-in and on-site registration begins at 8:30 AM. They recommend arriving early and giving yourself enough time get your race packet and get to the start line.
