Creve Coeur Park is the largest in the St. Louis County park system at 2,145 acres (counting the upper and lower sections). The Upper section is located off Dorsett road.
Creve Coeur Lake is the largest natural lake in MO. Around it’s perimeter it has several paved trails, some gravel paths, facilities for picnicking (which can be rented), tennis courts, multi-purpose athletic fields, and archery course.
Trails: there are several asphalt walking & biking trails around the lake. The trail also connects to a separate lane leading to the Missouri River to connect to the Katy Trail. A smaller 66-acre lake, Mallard Lake, also has a paved and natural walking trail around it. The upper part of Creve Coeur Park also has trails that are paved and natural. The park tends to get high usage especially on weekends.
