City Centre Park, adjacent to St. Peters City Hall and the St. Peters Rec-Plex, is 78 acres of natural beauty and recreation opportunities, including a pond, mature shade trees, and decorative waterfall. The City Centre Gazebo, set against this lovely backdrop, is a popular location for outdoor weddings and can be reserved for a fee by contacting the Parks Department.
The City Centre Trail goes thru the park and connects to Spencer Creek Park located at 937 Spencer Road, on the northeast corner of the Spencer/Willott Road intersection.
One of two spectacular veterans memorials in St. Peters is located in City Centre Park at the corner of Mexico Road and the entrance to City Hall. The veterans memorial is unique in that it honors all veterans, regardless of branch, rank or duty under which they served.
Recreation amenities at City Centre Park include: three baseball diamonds, a soccer/football field, biking and hiking trails, an inclusive playground for kids, and a picnic pavilion with barbecue grills. The park also features a grass outdoor amphitheater for music and performing arts.
Park hours: daily, sunrise to sunset.
