Bootlegger’s Run trail is located in the Upper portion of Creve Coeur Park.
Trail: difficulty is listed as easy to moderate. It was created for off-road cyclists and hiking. GORC extended it to more than 5.5 miles in length.. It is a natural dirt surface, out & back, looped trail through a wooded area of the upper part of Creve Coeur Park. Trail is 100% single track and includes hills, ravine crossings, banked turns, some moderate elevation changes and areas that twist through the woods. There are a few blind spots due to vegetation growth, so make yourself heard when approaching blind spots.
Directions: take I-270 to the Dorsett Road exit, and head west on Dorsett Road. Turn Right into the Upper Park on Streetcar Drive and then continue forward into the park. Look for a softball field on the right, followed by tennis courts and then a large gravel parking lot – turn right into this lot. Look for an obvious opening in the woods along the tree-line near the side of the tennis courts. Head into the woods and look for the trail on your left.
