Great Rivers Greenway is the public organization leading the development of the region-wide system of high-quality greenways, parks and trails known as the River Ring. Their mission is to make St. Louis a better place to live while creating an enduring legacy for future generations. They work with many partners, to develop The River Ring; its greenways represents a common cause with common ground. Clean air, clean water, healthy forests, connected neighborhoods and walkable streets provide a healthier lifestyle which serves as a catalyst for economic vitality, making the St. Louis region a better place to live.
