9:00a.m.: The 12th Annual Sweat 4 Pets will take place in Tower Grove Park at the Sons of Rest Shelter. The event benefits Operation SPOT (Stop Pet Overpopulation Today). Registration starts at 8:00a.m. and all events start at 9:00a.m. Cost: The "Good Dog" package includes a short-sleeve t-shirt and a goodie bag for the first 300 registrants. Cost is $20 for adults ($25 day of race), and $15 for youth (17 & under). The "Super Pooch" package includes a long-sleeve t-shirt and a goodie bag for the first 50 registrants. Cost is $30 for adults ($35 day of race), and $20 for youth (17 & under). Online registration closes Wednesday, November 7 at 11pm. Registration will be available at packet pick-up and race morning from 8:00-8:45am. Awards in the 5K/10K will be given to the top overall male and female runners, as well as the top 3 male and female finishers in several age groups. Prizes will also be awarded to the top three sponsorship amounts. Event includes free food & drinks, raffles for baskets and merchandise, including pet products, tickets, and gourmet treats. $1 per ticket. KSDK's Jennifer Blome leads the 1 Mile Walk.
