Dr. Edmund A. Babler Memorial State Park is a popular state park located in the Chesterfield valley area. Biking, hiking, nature study and wildlife viewing are popular activities. Equestrian and hiking trails wind their way through the park's narrow coves, deep sheltered valleys and towering forests. There are numerous picnic sites in the park.

DETAILS for Trails at Babler State Park

Four Hiking Trails
Dogwood Trail:  2 miles, loop, initial climb is steep for 2-3 minutes.
Woodbine Trail:  2 miles, loop. Dogwood and Woodbine Trails share a trailhead and can easily be combined to create a longer hike.

Hawthorne Trail:  1.25 miles, loop
Virginia Day Memorial Trail:  1.25 miles, loop

Equestrian Trail:  6 miles, loop
Paved Bicycle Path:  1.75 miles, linear

DIRECTIONS:
From I-44 take Exit 264 for Eureka and MO 109. Follow MO 109 for 8 miles north to MO BA/Babler Park Drive. Turn left on MO BA and drive 1 mile to the park entrance. Once you enter the Park, continue past the Visitor Center. Go about 0.1 miles and stay right to continue on Guy Park Drive. Drive another 0.5 mile.  The trailhead is at the Guy Park Trailhead/parking lot which will be on the right.
